History

    PT Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (“the Company”) was established under the Domestic Capital Investment Law No. 6 of 1968 as amended by Law No. 12 of 1970, based on the Notarial Deed No. 40 dated November 30, 1972 of Kho Boen Tian, S.H., which was amended by Notarial Deed No. 3 dated January 7, 1976 of the same notary concerning the change in the Company's name from PT Langgeng Jaya Plastic Industry Ltd., to PT Langgeng Makmur Plastic Industry Ltd. The deed of establishment and its changes were approved by the Ministry of Justice in its Decision Letter No. Y.A 5/39/11 dated January 24, 1976 and was published in the State Gazette No. 62 Supplement No. 706 dated August 4, 1987

    Based on Notarial Deed No. 450 dated June 27, 1997 of Adam Kasdarmadji, S.H., the Company's name has been changed, to PT Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk, which was approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia in its decision letter No. C2- 6.500 HT.01.04 TH.97 dated July 10, 1997.

    The Company's Articles of Association has been amended several times, the latest was by Notarial Deed No.202 dated June 23, 2023 of Sitaresmi Puspadewi Subianto, S.H., to be align with the Regulation of Financial Sevices Authority Regulation and to adjust of the Company’s purpose, objectives and business activities. The amendment has been approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in Decision Letter No. AHU- 0040194.AH.01.02.Year 2023 dated July 14,2023

    The development of the Company's production since started operations is as follows:

    • 1976 - Plastic Houseware Production
    • 1980 – Aluminium Kitchenware Production
    • 1987 - Pipe Production
    • 1996 – Non-Stick Aluminium Cookware Production

    The Company's purpose and objectives and business activities according to Article 3 of the Company's articles of association set forth in the Deed of Decree No.53 dated June 23, 2023 are as follows :

    1. The purpose and objective of the Company is to conduct business in the fields of :
      1. Processing industry ;
      2. Large trade.
    2. To achieve the above purposes and objectives, the Company can carry out business activities as follows
      1. Processing industry :
        • Plastic pipe industry and equipment ;
        • Household equipment and industry  (excluding furniture);
        • Industrial pipes and pipe connections from  non-iron and steel metals ;
        • Industrial kitchen equipment and metal table equipment.

      2. Large trade:
        • Large-scale trading on a retribution (fee) or contract ;
        • Large trade in household equipment and supplies ;
        • Trade in large amounts of metal and metal ore ;
        • Large trade in metal goods for construction materials ;
        • Large-scale trade in tiles, bricks, tiles and the like from limestone, cement or glass;
        • Major trade in other construction materials ;
        • Large trade of various kinds of goods;             

    The Company has +/- 7 hectares, factory in Waru, Sidoarjo (Unit 1) and +/- 5.5 hectares factory in Trosobo, Sidoarjo (Unit 2); both in East Java, also +/- 4.4 hectares factory in Tangerang (Unit 3), Banten.

    As an issuer listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the Company is currently a member of the Association of Indonesian Issuers (AEI) and regularly attends meetings and trainings held by the Association
